Marmalades

Marmalade is a jam containing chunks of fruit. When made with citrus fruit, it is made of juice, pulp and peel. Like with jams, the traditional method of cooking in pots is used for marmalade, giving them a delicious taste of yesteryear.

Traditional cooking pots

Les Comtes de Provence has opted to make its products using cooking pots. A traditional method used by artisanal jam makers and our grandmothers: the width of the pan spreads the heat so the fruit cooks evenly without overcooking. This enhances the concentration of taste and flavour. Cooking pots also help the environment, because the temperature rises faster and saves energy.

Sugar, Seville oranges, whisky (3%), orange juice (from concentrate), lemon juice (from concentrate), gelling agent: fruit pectin, acidifying agent: citric acid.
