Like our jams, our organic compotes are also made of fruit and sugar, although they require slower cooking than jam. Organic compote is not as sweet as organic jam, meaning it has a higher fruit content. Les Comtes de Provence offers a wide range of organic compotes. These traditional recipes are made with 85% organic fruit plus organic cane sugar to enhance the flavours. They are slow-cooked in pots to retain nice chunks of organic fruit and to reveal their full intensity. Our organic apricot, strawberry, peach and clementine compotes are made from traditional recipes, using home-style methods, to the delight of gourmet taste buds for breakfast or dessert, or as a complement or added to dairy and biscuit specialities.
