Traditional compotes
Like our jams, our compotes also consist of fruit and cane sugar, however they require a milder cooking than jam. Compote is less sweet than jam, so it is richer in fruit. Les Comtes de Provence offer a wide range of compotes. These traditional recipes are prepared with 85% fruit and cane sugar to enhance the taste and flavors. They are gently cooked in a cauldron to preserve beautiful pieces of fruit and reveal all their intensity. Today, we present our new range of “pastry but not just …” compotes cooked on the basis of recipes harmoniously mixing 85% fruit and pure cane sugar. TRADITIONAL by their cooking in a cauldron, NATURAL by the simple use of fruits, cane sugar and a little fruit pectin and lemon juice, they are ORIGINAL by their recipes with 85% fruit WITHOUT ADDED APPLE and for their texture which allow them multiple culinary uses: for breakfasts and desserts, but also as a complement to dairy products or biscuit specialties, as a topping on ice cream, cheesecake, pancakes, as a filling or topping on a cake, etc.
